Additional Service Projects
Throughout the year, Chicora Rotary is proud to support and strengthen our community through a variety of hands-on service projects and outreach initiatives. These efforts reflect our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who live, work, and learn in the Myrtle Beach area.
Our members regularly come together to participate in projects that address local needs, promote environmental stewardship, and support families and students in our community. From organizing beach cleanups to collecting essential supplies, each project is an opportunity to serve with purpose and impact.
One of our signature efforts involves keeping our community beautiful! We regularly work with the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce to participate in community clean up days and during the fall, we participate in an annual beach sweep, where members volunteer their time to help keep our beautiful coastline clean and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
We also hold food drives throughout the year to support local non-profit organizations, helping ensure that individuals and families in need have access to basic resources.
In addition, Chicora Rotary proudly supports local students through our Backpack Buddies supply drive. Traditionally, each fall, we collect school supplies and assemble backpacks to donate to local schoolchildren, helping them start the school year prepared and confident.
